Welcome to Clipano ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our mobile application, which utilizes generative AI to create personalized photos and videos. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service (or 16 years old if residing in the European Economic Area/UK). If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Because our service analyzes both static images and moving video, we process specific facial and temporal data to generate your output.
Input Content: We process the photos, videos, and audio (if applicable) you upload solely to train our temporary AI models to generate your requested content.
Data Retention: Video generation requires more processing time than static images. Your original files and temporary AI models are retained on our secure servers only for the duration necessary to render your photo or video (typically no longer than 24 hours). After this period, they are permanently deleted.
No Third-Party Training: Your inputs and facial data are never used to train our generalized foundational AI models, nor are they sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

We clearly distinguish between what you bring to the app and what the app creates for you.
Your Input Content: You retain all ownership rights to the original photos and videos you upload. You grant us a temporary, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and process these files strictly to provide the service to you.
Your Output Content: Upon successful generation, you are granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, download, share, and commercially exploit the generated photos and videos. We claim no ownership over your final generated files.
App Ownership: We retain all rights, title, and interest in Clipano, its underlying generative video and photo algorithms, source code, and design.

Video generation carries specific risks. You agree NOT to use our service to generate:
Non-Consensual Content (Deepfakes): Videos or photos of real, identifiable individuals (including celebrities or public figures) without their explicit consent.
Harmful Material: Content that is sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or promotes illegal acts.
Misinformation: Highly realistic video content intended to deceive the public, manipulate elections, or spread harmful misinformation.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account without a refund if you violate these rules.

Credit System: Clipano operates on a credit-based system managed through the Google Play Store. Video generations will consume more credits than static photo generations, as indicated within the app.
Processing Times: Generative video is computationally heavy. Generation times may vary based on server load. We do not guarantee immediate delivery of video outputs.
Refunds: All in-app purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for generated content that you deem aesthetically unpleasing, as generative AI is an unpredictable technology. Refunds are only issued for proven non-delivery of purchased credits.

Experimental Technology: Generative video and photo AI are experimental. Outputs may contain unpredictable artifacts, "hallucinations," or physical inaccuracies (e.g., distorted movement in video). The service is provided "as is" and "as available."
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipano shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the generated content.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Dhaka.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms within the application and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
